​To kick off the new year and season, Josilda da Conceição invites you to the opening of a duo exhibition featuring Sanne van Balen and Aaron Harris.

Their collaboration began without any set plans or expectations. Asked to leap into the unknown, 'Cadavre Exquis' emerged as a technique to get to know each other. The alternating texts turned out to be loosely based on the questions they ask themselves and each other in their visual work. Song lyrics and narratives from everyday life are woven into it..

This approach led to a rich, layered narrative about the forces that shape a person's life. The exhibition itself reflects this, offering a glimpse into the thoughts of two artists who communicate through both writing and images drawn from their surroundings—often found in forgotten corners of laundromats or construction sites. In their search for a way to hold onto something, they present “Squeeze me tighter” as a reflection on connection and discovery.
